This article presents the best three Christmas PCB projects of 2020 from PCBWay. Recently, PCBWay organized a Christmas PCB design contest. A lot of projects were shared on their website. Each one of them was unique. Kudos to all the participants from our side. But here are the best three projects that were a notch ahead.
CHRISTMAS CLOCK PCB
If we search for Christmas projects, most of the search result shows a Christmas tree with lights. But, this project is somehow more interesting. By giving a decent Christmas look to the house, it also serves its purpose as a clock. To display the time cutely, it consists of 12 LEDs. A buzzer makes a sound as each hour passes. An Arduino Nano controls the entire board along with an RTC module.

PCB DESIGN
It is a circular PCB board designed with a Reindeer theme. Twelve red LEDs are placed along the PCB to represent each number.

COMPONENTS REQUIRED
DS3231 (RTC MODULE)
LED-TH-3mm (Red LED)
Arduino Nano V3
1k resistor
Buzzer
DC005-2.0mm

CHRISTMAS REINDEER PCB
It is one of the Christmas projects that involves thinking out of the box. A PCB shaped in the form of a reindeer face. It consists of twelve LEDs controlled by an Arduino Nano. Six LEDs hang on either side of the horns of the reindeer. Each LED can be programmed individually. Thus, giving a fabulous look to your house.

PCB DESIGN
EasyEDA software is used to design the PCB board. A 12V adapter powers the PCB board.

COMPONENTS REQUIRED
LED-TH-3mm (Red LED)
R_Axial_0.3_us
DC005-T20
Arduino Nano

CHRISTMAS TREE PCB
A Christmas based project is incomplete without a Christmas tree. And what will be better than a PCB shaped like a Christmas tree? Twenty-two LEDs form a zigzag pattern on the board. Thus, decorating the Christmas tree PCB. Two pushbuttons connected at the bottom are used to change the speed of the LED sequence. The board uses a Pinguino IDE to control all the LEDs.

PCB DESIGN
The PCB is designed in Altium. The PCB is 15.5 cm wide and has a height of 28.7cm.

COMPONENTS REQUIRED
Diodes LED 3mm
Resistors
Pic18F4550 DIP
Crystal 20Mhz
Pushbuttons
Capacitors
